How quiet is the NVQ240

This model features a robust deep drawn steelhead that is fitted with Microtec technology, this makes the head of the vacuum very durable and very quiet. The steel construction provides plenty of protection for the internal workings of the vacuum cleaner. The Vacuum is rated at 72dB which is very quiet, meaning it is possible to clean in hotels, schools and other public environments without causing a disturbance to the rooms adjacent. 

How Energy Efficient is NVQ240?

Very - It has achieved an “A” rating, which is currently the highest rating available for vacuum cleaners. It sees an annual energy consumption of only 24.5KWh/annum. 

What accessories are supplied with the NVQ-240

The NVQ240 is supplied with a complete and comprehensive stainless steel accessory kit, allowing it to carry out a multitude of roles, A floor wand set offers the ability to clean all types of flooring including carpets and hard floors. 

Is this vacuum hard to service?

No -  The NVQ240 is very easy to service, requiring only bag changes on a regular basis (when full). The secondary Tritex filtration only requires changing once it becomes blocked, which is a rare occurrence if used with bags correctly. Another great feature of the NVQ is NuCable technology, this makes it very easy to replace the power cable should it become damaged without the need for any specialist tools or training. 

Are spare parts available for the NVQ240?

Yes, like with most of the Numatic range the NVQ range has a vast amount of spares available off the shelf, even down to replacement wheels, and motors. As well as “spare parts” accessories such as the hoses, floor tools and hand tools are also available off the shelf.

What accessories do you recommend purchasing with the NVQ-240

As the NVQ240 comes with a robust accessory kit as standard, there are only two additional items that we would suggest purchasing with the vacuum cleaner to improve its performance. The first is vacuum bags, these will be needed for day to day operation to provide the best filtration and performance. The Airo brush significantly improves the cleaning performance of the NVQ on carpets, making it ideal for schools, hotels and other carpeted areas.
