The Makita PS001GZ 40Vmax XGT Brushless Scrubber Polisher is a professional cordless floor-care machine designed for cleaning, scrubbing and polishing a wide range of floor surfaces.
Powered by Makita's high-performance 40Vmax XGT lithium-ion platform, the PS001G combines cordless convenience with the power and control required for demanding commercial cleaning applications. By changing the brush or floor pad, the machine can be used to remove dirt and stains or polish waxed flooring.
The PS001G features three selectable speed settings – Low, Medium and High – at 150, 350 and 600 rpm, allowing the operator to match the machine's performance to different surfaces and applications. Constant-speed control helps maintain stable rotation under load, while Makita's anti-wobble construction provides smoother and more controlled operation.
An adjustable telescopic handle provides an operating length of approximately 1,081–1,435mm, allowing the machine to be adapted to the user's preferred working position. The handle is designed for comfortable gripping and improved control during extended cleaning tasks.
The machine accepts a 190mm cleaning brush or 200mm floor pad, making it suitable for a variety of professional floor-maintenance tasks. Compatible accessories include soft, medium, hard and abrasive brushes as well as different grades of floor polishing pads.
Additional features include soft start, anti-restart protection, reversing function, constant-speed control, electronic three-speed selection and a built-in LED job light.
The PS001GZ is supplied without a battery or charger, making it ideal for users who already own Makita 40Vmax XGT batteries. Official Makita documentation identifies the Z version as the bare-tool configuration.
