Choosing the right Industrial Wet Vacuum.

When choosing from our range of Industrial Wet Vacuums the most important factor is how you want to empty the machine.

The method of emptying the machine is denoted by the Suffix at the end of the model number.

DH, PH, AP? What do they mean?

DH - Dump hose, this allows the wet vacuum to be emptied of water by gravity. A large diameter hose is fitted to the base of the vacuum that can be fed into a drain, once a tap is opened the vacuum drains its contents into a drain.

PH - Pump Hose, this means the vacuum is fitted with a pump that is user operated. When the vacuum cleaner is full the pump is turned on and the contents of the vacuum are pumped out into a drain or other receptacle. The bonus of this system is that the vacuum can empty out into something higher than the base of the vacuum.

AP - Auto Pump, this means that the industrial wet vacuum is fitted with an auto-pump. This allows the vacuum to pump its contents into a drain as it is being used. This means that you don’t have to stop to empty the wet vacuum, it empties whilst you work and allows you to be more productive as you don’t need to stop and empty the contents.
